Feeling deflated Jump'in Jacks needed help
The Black Country's only PIPA registered inspector needed a few repairs on their own website to make sure it was up to current standards.
Jump’in Jacks is a West Midlands supplier of rodeo bulls, bucking broncos and bouncy castle equipment. An existing client of The Site Doctor, Jump’in Jacks felt it was time to redevelop their website, bringing it more in line with their current company image. Jump’in Jacks wanted a fun redesign which would reflect the fun nature of their business and expanded product range. As they had been able to update the previous site’s content using a basic Content Management System (CMS), they were keen not to lose this functionality.
The redesigned website is fun and friendly; the use design uses cartoon imagery depicting a garden on a summer’s day to get their message across. This backdrop is then used to display the wide range of products Jump’in Jacks have for hire.
Jump’in Jacks can easily edit the website using our powerful CMS, all content and page templates can be managed by the client if desired. In addition to the standard content management features, we integrated some advanced features requested by the client such as a product catalogue and rogues gallery.
As Jump’in Jacks repair bouncy castles as well, the rogues gallery was designed to allow Jump’in Jacks to highlight some of the poorly maintained equipment they see in the industry or that has been brought in for repair.
Jump’in Jacks also advertise heavily in the Yellow Pages and have historically attributed most of their sales to referrals from Yellow Pages however as the old website was taken offline while the new website was being developed, Jump’in Jacks noticed a clear reduction in bookings (in the region of 80%) which goes to show how important advertising online has become.
Since the redeveloped website was launched, an increased number of referrals have come from the website that has exceeded all expectations. In fact, the work generated since the launch of the new webiste has totalled more than Yellow Pages and Yell.com put together!
