- Who can use VersionIt?
VersionIt
can be used by anyone using a PC, whether you require an online backup solution for home or work VersionIt
can help. Share files between locations or merely backup those critical files, VersionIt
will help.
- Will VersionIt have and file size limits?
- No
VersionIt
does no impose any file limits. If you are using the online service you may be limited by your account's quota which is managed online.
- Why should I use VersionIt over my current CVS setup?
VersionIt
is actually better than CVS in that it doesnt require a CVS server, also supports renaming and allows the full project state to be restored for a given datetime.
- Where can I backup to using VersionIt?
VersionIt
was designed to offer you the maximum versitility possible and so you can backup to any (or all) of:
- A "Local Location" ie another HDD
- A "Remote Location" ie a computer on the local network
- An FTP Site

's online backup account offering you access to your files through either VersionIt
or the Web Interface
- What do VersionIt have over all those other online backup solutions?
VersionIt
not only backs up all your critical files but it also has the capability to store versions of your files online so if you make an error it can restore an older version often saving you hours of corrections.
